Thrust Areas of Research:
- Real-time monitoring of rig operations, sample preparation, and preliminary mud log creation.
- Capturing and organizing metadata from oil well documents (including final well reports, well completion reports, various well logs, and maps) to build an accessible database.
- Groundwater exploration using resistivity data acquired through the 1D-VES technique and microtremor data collection with a Broadband Seismograph (BBS).
- Creating complex thematic maps along with various graphs and plots using software such as ArcGIS, Global Mapper, QGIS and Interpex - IX1D, Surfer, Grapher and CorelDRAW.
- Monitoring real-time seismic data, processing it, and reporting earthquakes across the entire Seismic Network of Gujarat.

- Geological, Seismotectonic and Geotechnical Study for the Seismic Hazard Assessment of the 200 MW Solar Power Plant at Raghanesda, Gujarat
- Geological & seismotectonic study along with acquiring microtremor data for the Site-Specific Study at Upcoming Conventional Barrage across Tapi River, Surat (Gujarat)
- Acquiring microtremor data for the Site-Specific Seismic Hazard Assessment of Green PVC and Naphtha Crackers Plants at Mundra for M/S Adani.
- Seismic Microzonation of Eight Major Cities—Agra, Amritsar, Dhanbad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Patna, and Varanasi—in the Indo-Gangetic Plains of India.
- Geophysical Investigations for Pinpoint Locations of Dug Wells Under Adijati Khedut Labharthi Mate Vyaktigat/Samuhik Sinchai Kuva Saathe Solar Pump Scheme in the 14 Tribal Districts of Gujarat.
- Preparing the seismotectonic maps with 300km and 50km/100km buffer zones for Site-Specific Hazard Assessment of PSP Projects at Bilaspur, Kalimpong, Kamalapadu, Kandhura, Musakhand and Pane.
