Thrust Areas of Research:
- Seismic hazard and Microzonation, Hydrogeology, Geophysical Field survey.
- Groundwater exploration using resistivity data acquired through the 1D-VES technique and microtremor data collection with a Broadband Seismograph (BBS).
- Creating complex thematic maps and plots using software such as IX1D, Grapher, Surfer, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, and QGIS.
Projects Completed:
- Geophysical surveys for delineation of fresh water aquifer in Dang district Gujarat for GWRDC under project titled “PMKSY”.
- Seismic microzonation of Agra, Amritsar, Dhanbad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Patna and Varanasi in India.
- Madhubani Project includes data from a total of 50 Microtremor sites.
Projects Ongoing:
- Geophysical Investigations for Pinpointing Location of Dug wells under Adijati Khedut Labharthi Mate Vyaktigat/Samuhik Sinchai Kuva Sathe Solar Pump Scheme.
