  • Understanding the causes of earthquakes through studying deep structure using shear wave splitting, tomography, and receiver function analysis.
  • Short term Earthquake Precursors by studying multi parametric geophysical observations and ionosphere precursors using space based observations.

  • Awarded ‘Order of Merit’ by Indian Society of Earthquake Science on outstanding contribution to earthquake science in 2015.
  • Recipient of National e-Governance GOLD Award during 2013-14.
