ISR has constructed its new campus at Raisan near Gandhinagar at a cost of Rs.22 crores from GEERP funds (World Bank) and shifted to its new campus in October 2008.

ISR has procured various Seismological and Geophysical instruments at a cost of Rs.30 crores and establishing various laboratories at ISR new campus building.

Three Multiparametric Geophysical Observatories have been setup at Vamka, Desalpar and Badalgarh in Kachchh district for measuring 11 physical parameters round the clock for earthquake prediction research.
