ISR is carrying out
Microzonation of
Gandhinagar and few
areas of Kachchh. It
is seen from the
study done so far in
and around
Gandhinagar that the
soil in the area has
strong bearing
capacity. There is
no site
amplification for
the frequency range
of 1-6 Hz which
means that one to
ten storey buildings
in and around
Gandhinagar can be
constructed by norms
already in place. |
